This is a very good tank for beginners. Not too big and not too small. All four walls are glass, unlike some tanks with black plastic back walls that don’t brighten the view. These 20 gallons can hold over 20 of his nanofish like ember tetras. No problem with NO2 and NO3+. Noise is ok No leaks found so far. A tropical fish heater is included and operates automatically. Overall very good and very convenient!

Instead of buying new for $150, I bought this aquarium set “used – like new” for $57. What a great offer! And it literally looks like it was bought and then returned unopened. If it wasn’t used, I thought it was brand new. I am very happy with this purchase!!! If you can find a “used – like new” option, I highly recommend buying this.

Swivel the tank for a wooper looper!! Didn’t need some of the stuff that came with it but contrary to some reviews the filter is nice and quiet! It’s in our office and the filter works No one will notice what you are doing! Keep your fingers crossed to keep it going

Although it was not in the original packaging, it was easy to assemble as all the accessories were included. This is my aquarium. I still have to get my fish. I was going to wait a few days to make sure the tank was ok but I wanted to put an air pump in to get more oxygen and I like the results

We couldn’t find a tank cheaper than the price of this entire kit. The pump fills east and everything was easy to set up. I wish I could buy the gravel myself, but it would be nice to be able to choose it myself. The plant looks a little cheesy but looks good in the light. The only bad thing I have to say is that I didn’t get the lid lighting that was advertised. I don’t have a light that fits the lid, but there is a clip-on light on the box that works well.

If you’re starting a new tank, or looking to upgrade (or whatever), this is the tank for you. It was easy to set up, the filter worked very well for me (it’s quiet) and the tank itself had no scratches or leaks.I replaced the hood because I was looking for a light for my plants, but the hood that came with it only worked with LED strips. It was worth every penny.

A good aquarium comes with a heater, filter, LED lights built into the cover, tropical fish flakes, chlorine neutralizer and, of course, a very nice clean 20 gallon tank. You’ll need to purchase the bubbler and stand separately, but it’s a great starter kit. We recommend purchasing a blue light to attach to the lid. I bought a small 6 inch blue light at Walmart and attached it with 3M double sided tape!

quality! I have received the starter kit. I’ve had tanks for years and have had to upgrade due to increased numbers. Nice, filters work amazingly. I also ordered decorations and gravel from Amazon. I set up the aquarium and the fish were delighted. Don’t be put off by the word “starter” to buy this item. A great tank for enthusiasts.

I think the Aqueon kit is the best. I have a 20 gallon and a 10 gallon and am very happy with both. It’s a basic kit with everything you need and quality for the price. The only thing is that the 20 gallon kit comes with filter number 10. I purchased the 20 gallon filter separately because a small filter is not enough. Overall, it’s worth the money and I had no issues with it.

I bought a set for my two baby map turtles. everything is working fine. I’ve been taking it for 3-4 days. Filters keep water clean. Turtles love Iwahashi. It would be nice if the tank was equipped with a heater. But absolutely as advertised, no complaints… adding to my review. The filter keeps my pool water clean for about 3 days. Then it starts to fog up, but I think that’s normal

Can’t give this 5 stars because the aquarium itself is good.The top and lights are great. The heater is fine, but the filter sucks. It’s a great looking concept, but it takes up a lot of space in the tank and doesn’t filter well. Within a week, mine was already clogged and whistling, even after changing the filter. I always keep the tank clean, never overeat, and followed all the instructions, so I don’t know why I was whistling.

What to buy with it – Thermometer, testing strips ?
You don’t need to buy any of these things to get set up and started. Ready to use right out of the box. However, once set up, these items are worth the purchase. After setting mine up, I got a stick-on thermometer that was fairly cheap and easy to install, as well as a heater to control the water temperature. You may or may not need it. For example, if your fish need to be in water about 75°C and the average aquarium temperature is about 75°C, you don’t need a heater. We hope you enjoy your new tank.

So far, so good. It was easy to set up and came in a double box. Perfect for small spaces. When the water is ready, add some small fish. Includes net, water starter kit, fish flakes and filter with cartridge. It uses all 3 cartridges which is weird. Would have preferred something big in spades, but whatever. The filter is whisper quiet right out of the box. LED lighting is a big bonus. Older tanks had fluorescent lights that often went out (at least in my experience).

I bought the 5 gallon size for my daughter to fit in a small bookshelf. Everything you need is in the box, filters, lights and covers. The cover is especially nice because there are two cats.

Very satisfied. The filter is quiet and has an adjustable flow rate. The mesh works fine. I didn’t use food or conditioner as I already had it. The tank looks great and my betta fish seems very happy in his new home.I recommend him for bettas as he is much more active than in a small 1 gallon tank!

One piece has arrived! ! ! After some reviews, I was really worried that the tank would be broken or scratched.However, the packaging was good, no cracks, scratches or other visible defects. I use this as a habitat for my 5 foot rat snake. So I can’t say anything about water retention. I have been using it for about 5 months and it is very good. Easily paired with a wire mesh lid to keep your snake where you want it. really good value for money. Much cheaper than other 20 gallon tanks and perfect for its intended use.
