It looks as good as the day you received it. Like many others, I didn’t care for the cover or the attached lights, so I left them open.As other reviewers have also mentioned, in my second photo As you can see there is a slight curve at the top towards the middle so a common problem.Acrylic does not yellow and my fish are happy. This is my girlfriend’s 3rd acrylic tank and also my biggest and best acrylic tank.

• I had to buy this tank in a pinch when my 29 gallon glass tank leaked and it was a blessing in disguise.The transfer wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, but once all is done, the aesthetics of this tank Totally in love with! This is my first acrylic tank and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to glass. I’m not used to being super careful not to damage it, but I think it’s worth the risk.

• I like the lightness of this tank. It’s easy to move, but the top slot has limited space, so you’ll need to measure a large rock or piece of driftwood before purchasing to make sure it fits in the slot.Don’t worry about the included fluorescent hood , I bought a Nickle LED light instead. This is more convenient and offers more lighting options and intensity. Acrylic scratches easily and scratches are very noticeable due to the crystal clear acrylic, so be careful not to hit it or place sharp objects on it.

• All Plexiglas tanks have minor scratches. I have never run out of one. 65 years of ornamental fish history,years. Fluorescent lamps are the most commonly used type. Do not add lighting as the tank will overheat.Transparency is excellent as long as scratches are not allowed.

I wanted to add an honest review so other people can see what this product really is like.. not bad. The aquarium was very well packed and arrived undamaged. Arrived on schedule. It’s in Styrofoam, double bagged and wrapped once with bubble wrap. I’m not sure how well the bubble wrap works, but the styrofoam and double box add extra security.You’ll have to navigate the shipping process. I arrived perfect! I’m very happy with the clarity of the glass, but I’m a little concerned about the quality of the silicone that attaches it to it. I didn’t notice it in the tank I bought in the past, but it wasn’t edgeless, so I wonder if it moves a little? Given the price I paid, I hope it continues to hold water!
