I got these caps to replace my Marineland 75 gallon. Luckily, I’ve gotten a similar 29-gallon lid before, so I already knew the plastic liner wouldn’t fit the lid, so I used the metal butter on the end of his knife handle. was used to widen the connector to match the black fit. Make lids easier. Depending on the thickness of the tool you are using, you may need to angle it to avoid damaging the plastic. I’ve seen some reviews about the lid being broken, so if the lid arrives intact, it’s a great replacement if you need it.

this is a great product. Unlike others on Amazon, this is genuine tempered glass and extremely durable. Carefully measure the opening and it will fit. It fits perfectly in our 90 gallon tank. The only problem you have is attaching the plastic extension behind the glass. Here are some tips for achieving this: Get the JETDRY, press it against the glass edge and the plastic slot, then slide the cover open from the edge. One person holds the jar and the other person slides the cover open.
Please measure carefully as standard Tetra/Aqueon tank sizes may not be exactly the same. The grip glue has also been good for about 5 months, in contrast to my experience with his Aqueon branded Versatop on another tank. The backstrip was difficult to apply, so I applied a drop of dish soap to the groove and washed the glass well to keep the tank free of residue. Overall very happy with this canopy set and you can’t beat the price.

Perfect fit. Please measure accurately. They even called to confirm my aquarium readings. moreover. Sliding the plastic extensions open was a bit tight, but get them wet first.

It is an old model, and when I purchased the 2and Hand tank, the lid was lost. This lid fits my aquarium like a glove. An extension is included, but not required for MY model. I have my filter, heater and bubbler hanging in the back and the lid fits perfectly without the extension!

excellent lid. As I mentioned in another post, the plastic slides are a little more difficult to put on, but doable.I used my morning dish soap and put them in the grooves and they glide pretty well. Then simply wash off the excess in the sink.

I searched around for a glass lid that would fit a 90 gallon tank. After reading various reviews, I was a little nervous at first, but decided to take a chance. The package arrived securely packed. I took it out… 💣💥BOOM!!!!! Sweet Jesus, it fits😁. I added grips purchased at Walmart for a custom look.
