I was hesitant after reading all the reviews, but me and Betty Betty couldn’t be happier. Bought a Betty with a gallon kiddie pool. This 2.5 gallon. The tank fits nicely in a small space like a small kitchen next to a Nespresso. Betas like dark light, so I only use blue light. No problem with the filter…the water level needs to be high to keep the foam wet. I think I got the new model because this low-profile lid fits well and doesn’t require any modifications to include a filter or heater.

The filter that came with the tank is way too small for the tank… even the filter says 1-5 gallons, but this is a 6 gallon tank and the water should be changed within 3 days.

The filters that came with this setup weren’t strong enough to cause water movement or add enough oxygen to the water, which was easily fixed by adding an air stone. Replace the filter with a small sponge filter system. The only problem I always have is the lights come on when they are off. Otherwise I am happy with the purchase

Appears to be new, but some parts are missing. After buying a tank with a filter, I had to buy another because the part that holds the filter to the tank wasn’t in the box or easily replaceable or interchangeable.

If you are looking for a product that can be used as a koi viewing tower, this is a very economical option. Very easy to install and much safer than glass. See photos and videos. I will buy again.

I bought this tank for my child and it is the perfect size for a few small fish. The shape is perfect, not too big and not too small. The only reason my rating isn’t 5 stars is that the filter broke and I had to buy another one.

It’s pretty understated that the accessories worked so well, even though I thought there would be more. i really like the lights. There are different colors, timers and some features. I’m thinking of buying another one for another side table.
